You can permanently delete your account in Epicrest, or submit a request here if you cannot access the app or sign in.
Release applicability: Epicrest 2.2 is the current public iPhone release. References to Android, Google Play, or Google Drive below describe v2.3 release-candidate builds until those versions are publicly released; Android 2.3 is in prerelease testing and is not publicly listed on Google Play.
For the fastest self-service option, sign in to Epicrest and open Settings → Delete Account. Review the warning, enter the required confirmation, and confirm deletion. The server deletion is immediate. In Android 2.3 release-candidate builds, the app then removes the deleted account's local journal, photos, saved and planned items, private sync state, custom avatar, offline packs, credentials, reminders, and queued account work from that device.
Deleting your account permanently removes the Epicrest account and authentication sessions; subscription receipt and entitlement records held by Epicrest; summit and place journal metadata; saved and planned peaks and places; personal-sync records; offline-pack download history; and signed-in feature requests, issue reports, contact requests, attachments, and replies associated with the account.
Operational request and audit records may be retained only after direct account, IP, device, and free-form identifying details are removed. Routine restricted service backups are retained for up to 14 days and are not used to restore a deleted account to the live service. We may retain a narrowly required record where law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or security obligations require it.
Account deletion does not cancel a subscription purchased through an app store. Cancel the public iPhone subscription in Apple subscriptions. If you participate in Android 2.3 release-candidate testing with billing enabled, cancel that testing subscription in Google Play subscriptions.
Epicrest cannot delete copies held in your private iCloud container or ZIP and image exports you saved elsewhere. For v2.3 release-candidate builds, it also cannot delete encrypted files already in Google Drive's hidden app-data folder. Remove those through the relevant Apple, Google, device, or storage-provider controls. Turning cloud sync off only stops future synchronization.
Submit the email address used for the Epicrest account. We may email you to verify account ownership before deletion. We normally complete a verified request within 30 days and will tell you if additional information or time is legally required. The request form itself is kept only as needed to verify, fulfill, and document the deletion request.
If the form is unavailable, email support@epicrest.app from the account email with the subject “Epicrest account deletion.”
